DC converters

Primary clocked DC converter modules are used, among other things, to generate different (consumer) voltage levels from central DC voltages, also battery-supported.

Scope of application

Primary clocked DC converter modules are used, among other things, to generate different (consumer) voltage levels from central DC voltages, also battery-supported.
Our clocked DC converter modules for use in the low-voltage range can be connected in parallel in any quantity to increase power and redundancy.
The units are designed as plug-in modules for cabinet installation and offer galvanic isolation between input and output.

The connections on the front allow easy exchange of the modules.
As a special form, we offer DC converters without galvanic isolation on request for adapting e.g. specific battery voltage ranges to specified consumer voltages (function: e.g. “step-up converter”).

Due to their design, our modules are ideally suited for a wide range of industrial applications.

Essential features

  • Galvanic isolation between input and output
  • High efficiencies
  • Parallel switchable without additional control unit
  • Compact design with easily accessible connections on the front side
  • Fanless design (low noise, no fan replacement necessary)
  • High test voltages acc. EN 50124-1 from the railway sector
    Module-specific:
    • Integrated decoupling diode
    • 2 x IN Short-circuit current, limited to 1.2 to 1.5 s
    • Relay interface with potential-free changeover contact (operation / fault)
    • Signalling by means of LEDs, partly digital voltmeter
