TheGustav Klein GmbH & Co. KG from Schongau was awarded Top Innovator 2021 at the end of January. The Top 100 award honours particularly innovative medium-sized companies every year. Gustav Klein had previously had to prove its special innovative strength in a scientific selection process.
On behalf of compamedia, the organiser of the TOP 100 innovation competition, innovation researcher Prof. Dr. Nikolaus Franke and his team investigated Gustav Klein’s innovative strength. The researchers used around 120 test criteria from five categories: Top management that promotes innovation, innovation climate, innovative processes and organisation, external orientation/open innovation and innovation success. At its core is the question of whether innovations are the result of a planned approach or a product of chance, i.e. the repeatability of innovation performance. Gustav Klein has now received this coveted award for the fifth time.
The employees of Gustav Klein are very proud to have received this recognised award, even during the difficult time of the Covid-19 pandemic.
Gustav Klein has been developing and producing technically sophisticated user-oriented power supplies for industrial applications since 1948.
Well-known companies from industry, railways, energy supply and all areas of e-mobility rely on technology and quality from Schongau. In the meantime, Gustav Klein has already delivered over 400,000 systems to 105 countries around the world.
The universally applicable test and simulation system I-TS from Gustav Klein is particularly innovative. This test and simulation system can be used to test and simulate drives, batteries or even fuel cells for electromobility.
It is not only used in the development and production of components for electrically powered cars, trucks and buses, but also in the development of electrically powered aircraft and air taxis.
