Überlingen – For the 25th time, the TOP 100 competition selects the most innovative companies in the German SME sector. This year, one of these innovation leaders is Gustav Klein GmbH & Co. KG.
Exactly 70 years ago, today’s Gustav Klein GmbH & Co. KG was founded in Schongau, Upper Bavaria. From here, the family-owned company with its 175 employees supplies customers all over the world with its power supply systems. Over the decades, more than 350,000 such systems have been installed in 91 countries.
With its newly developed “Infeed Test System”, the medium-sized company is now venturing into electromobility. Automobile manufacturers worldwide use the system of the top innovator to test new battery and drive technologies. The innovation from Gustav Klein is also used for testing fuel cells or simulating solar systems.
“The market for electromobility and storage technology will definitely grow strongly in the next few years. That is why we are now building a new production facility in Schongau precisely for these products,” says Managing Director Günther Stensitzki, explaining the plans of the four-time TOP 100 company. This makes it clear: Gustav Klein continues to focus on future technologies.
