The new multi-channel test and simulation system for energy storage systems enables large savings in supply power and energy consumption.
Thanks to the internal DC bus, the energy can be shifted directly back and forth between the batteries to be tested without having to go via the mains or without using load resistors that only burn up the energy.
The total power of the DC converters can exceed the power of the input rectifier. The basis is the performance of the internal rail.
Solutions up to 500 kW 1000 V 1000 A are possible.
